Can We Use XUL / Moz to make our FTC client?

People need and want a whole bunch of features. User friendliness, portability, specialised uses.
Our wallet could be the greatest, if we wanted it to be.
I agree. There is so much room for innovation when it comes to wallet design. Feathercoin could easily set itself apart from the rest of the alt-coins if it expanded on one of its strongest features, it’s “look” and “feel”.

I like this thread. What do you need to get you to the next step?
Unfortunately I am not a web developer. I am but a mere “joe everybody” when it comes to these types of things.
But, I was thinking. If funding is a barrier to implementing new features, we could easily start something like a “Kickstarter” for Feathercoin.
That way we could hire on a professional if we do not have the resources within our own community.
Feathercoin community members could come up with different projects (such as re-vamping the Feathercoin client) and vote on which project they would like to pledge their Feathercoins to.
Once a project has been voted on and there is a general consensus of what needs to be done in what order, we could set a budget and a time frame for collecting pledges. A trusted member of our community (such as yourself, Chris) could be in charge of collecting pledges. Say we give a 2 month time period to collect enough Feathercoins for a certain project, if the capital needed for that project isn’t reached… The pledgers get their Feathercoins back.
I for one would be more than happy to donate Feathercoins towards the advancement of the Feathercoin project.
Just an idea.
That’s a great idea and I had been thinking of bringing some investment to go in to community. If the people trust me to run such an operation I would be happy to oblige. Let’s see who else comments on this post with their input.

Sounds great

That just means it’s a great idea. I am talking to one of the devs now on how this can be done. PM me if you want but I will get back to you once I have a proposal on execution.
