@wrapper Hi wrapper, it all seems to have gone wrong. I pasted USB stick info into wallet, and then feathercoin app would not open saying… wallet corrupt…then tried to start again by uninstalling everything and re installing .But it just keeps saying wallet corrupt. Tried this a few times, changed browsers etc but to no avail…Alan

@harmoye22 Did you copyed all files over or just the wallet.dat?

You should only paste the wallet.dat into the directory.

Fraid we can’t diagnose whats up without seeing it, running blind here. You can fix currupt wallets (if that is the problem) or extract the keys. You will need someone with more computer knowledge to help.

@mamoonfarooq Tbh i don’t even know if there is a miner for Intel HD Graphics. But even if there would be one you shouldn’t use it if you have to pay for electricity. The electricity costs would be higher than the payout so you wouln’t gain any money. The intel gpu is very weak.

So tell me, can I mine Feathercoin with Zeus Thunder miners?

I use Minera on a Pi Raspberry. I am an old skool miner from 2014, in that time there was only scrypt and SHA256.

But now? Do I have to install something for Neoscrypt? Maybe someone can tell something about that.

                            Simple answer: NO

                            More exhaustive answer:
Feathercoin is using the neoscrypt algorithm, which is ASIC resistant, what means Feathercoin can be mined with CPU or GPU(s) only.

To add to that… it’s purposely by design.
It’s supposed to be asic resistant.

                                  Hello

I am replying firstly so that (hopefully) I will be able to reply on other topics, but secondly I am also curious if there exist a topic or a web page with approximate hash rates for different GPU cards for feathercoin. I would like to get into mining but am not sure if I should go for a more expensive cards like 1060/70 or would 1050 be almost as good but for half the price?
If I missed some rule or picked completely wrong section please excuse me and move/delete this post.

Looks like he did some fixes to neoscrypt that could be pushed to " head" https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer

Got miner started , getting coins. I had about 4000-8000 disappear before they were mature. I have all the info in debug log. When check the info, confirms everything happened, but does not show coins anywhere. I have sent other coins to an address, they not showing up. How many confirmations does it usually take before coins show up after being sent? At moment have nice amount waiting to mature. would like to not have them disappear, if I send them, or if shut down miner for what ever reason. Yes I backup wallet several times a day. When load up with one of the backups, starts me back at 0 coins like I have never mined any. Any help at getting me pointed in correct direction to look at solving my issues greatly appreciated.

                                          Respectively,
                                          Jobe 1592

                                            None!
If the receiving wallet is fully in sync with the block chain, it shows the transactions as unconfirmed, but they show up as soon as they are detected on the block chain.

                                            What I suggest:

                                            • check, if your wallet is fully synchronized with the block chain. you can use explorer.feathercoincom or fsight.chain.tips and compare the block number and hash with the latest blocks your wallet has seen.
                                            • check, if you see any transactions belonging to your receiving wallet in the block chain. To do so enter the receiving address in the search field of the servers mentioned above.

How long did it take you to mine the 4000-8000 coins?
There are ~2 days between your last posts, what looks a very short time to mine 4000 coins…
