I am using the windows wallet, and I can’t get the paper wallet function to work at all.

If I choose the option, it pops up with the dialogue instructing me to disconnect from the internet, then shows me a paper wallet with the options of creating a new address, etc. but, if I click on “print wallet”, nothing happens. I tried clicking the question mark “help” symbol in the top right area of the window, and nothing happens, also.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known issue with the Windows wallet…?

That look really like an Issue with the wallet.
Can you open an issue at Github?
That is where we track problems.

If you can’t for any reasons, add the following information to this thread and I will transfer the information to the Issue tracker on github.

What will be helpful to solve the problem:

        • the Operating system you use ( = windows version?)
        • Code in 32 or 64 bit
        • did you compile yourself or did you download the binary/installer from feathercoin.com?

I’ll do it later this evening when I get back from work.

          Thanks for the quick reply!

I have seen the issue you opened on Github.

As you are using 0.9.6.2, would it be possible to backup your %appdata%\feathercoin directory and install the new wallet 0.13?

0.13 is partially released and there possibly is a fix for your problem.

If not, we can try to fix it before we announce the 0.13.x release officially
the binaries are on github -> releases tab

Paper wallets aren’t integrated into 0.13.0 - only available in 0.9.6.2

I don’t know if this will help your issue or not. I like the paperwallets for cold storage. Its safe off of the “net”. I use https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=Feathercoin It’s reliable and I have most of my FTC on paper. All tests have proven transferable. That may be a temporary fix for you. Best of Luck.

I use the same and it works flawlessly; just make sure to run it local and not on in its online incarnation
