              It was never tested on XP so I removed it from the installer configuration, but you are welcome to try:

                I’m on 2003 R2 x64, though XP is not much different when it comes to desktop use. The installation is quick and easy now.

                I guess there must be some kind of logo. In general, works fine.

                  I take it I was right with just allowing Vista, 7 & 8 then ;D
                  Weird how the logo won’t display, as the Background and Logo are both base64 :-\
                  Oh well thanks for testing, looks like it will have to suck though. :)

                    Well, it generates addresses/keys on my 2003 actually. The client validates them with no problem. I’ve catched a few false positives while playing with some weird patterns such as 71/72/73. If you fix the logo thing, it’s all right.

                      Arrr yeah 7’s they are a bit hit and miss :)

                      OK, I [i]think[/i] it may be a .png problem as that is the only noticiable difference between both images (BG & Logo), so I have updated the Logo to a gif - Base64 so it is now exactly the same as the Matrix background.
                      Other than that I am totally lost as I don’t have the means to debug this solo :(

                        No difference, must be something else. Although you can simply remove it for the XP/2003 build.

                        I guess that’s because I’m using 120 DPI fonts while most people are comfortable with 96 DPI ones, but you can add some bottom space to the Settings window anyway.

                              I have a couple of patches I want to add, so I will build the XP mods in too and then release v1.11 which will be a single one-for-all installer for XP≥ OS’s.

                                    Added necessary changes for XP & 2003 support.
                                    Added additional input option to FTCoclVanity (user can now select their OpenCL device ID number that they wish to use to generate keys on).

                                        Great news, I was wondering as I changed back to .png from .gif for the logo, but the method is sound now, still weird how XP/2003 don’t seem to be able to handle 2 x Base64 decodes at the same time though. :-\

                                          I imported one into the Android app “Feathercoin Wallet”…
                                          it reports…
                                          Warning: Due to a Java vulnerability, your wallet contains potentially vulnerable private keys! etc…
                                          It is Version 1.099 from github hank feathercoin-wallet
                                          I also needed OpenSSL to decrypt and encrypt what it Exports and Imports.
                                          OpenSSL explains it’s current version fixes this problem as well.

                                          I’m guessing this is the problem and why these are actually not safe to use.
                                          Please look into it and maybe resolve with a rebuild thanks.
                                          :'(
