Some will argue against pumps and from a free market perspective, I get it. Now, from a real world business perspective, it’s nice to show BTC-e that there’s profit to be made from Feathercoin while we work in the background launching services.
If I didn’t think this coin had a good chance of breaking $2 within the next year, I would drastically lower my hours and focus on my training business. I’m here.
In my opinion, this reads more like a “scheme” than an “idea” or “plan.”
Just remember that there are two sides to every currency trade. When someone “wins” someone else “loses.”
Please keep this in mind whenever you trade, every time you trade.Real strength of a currency is measured in its usefulness, not how fast you can turn a profit.
If people really want to support Litecoin, I suggest:
Convincing merchants to accept it.
Contacting your government to change 19th century laws about currency trade.
Telling your friends and family about it.
And most importantly… use it.
This was a response to fontas proposed litecoin pump.

I have to say that I’m skeptical that any organised “manipulation” of the price is going to benefit the coin, I can see it causing harm when there is an eventual dump and new people lose their shirt having jumped on the train too late.
Pushing more widespread adoption is a more useful long term goal rather than a temporary pump imho.

Pump is only ever short term, why would anyone want to do that?
Quick profit i guess ;) -
Pump sounds a bit sexually sadistic and don’t you feel sorry at all for the people you are trying to rob by artificially enhancing the price?

pump went on for about 30min lol. I might try much bigger one in a few days time like I did a few week ago but currently can not do as big but working on getting prices up to a good level and keeping it at that and contacting a lot of company’s to actually look at accepting as a payment. Like with my business am putting together FTC will be accepted and many other options to.

Oh the 0.00002 increase? Sounds like a fontas pump lol
I don’t do small ones lol, I am talking of last week or week before making it in the 103 area for a good few days until more and more sold up and couldn’t quite keep up to the 80 to 100+ BTC demands made a good amount too and then sold a bit too but I have plans in the next few weeks and months to pump up back to it and keeping it at it. Providing if others are looking to help out too :)
But as of now am not in a status of BTC to do that currently.

I honestly have no issue if people want to pump something. I just dont see what real value it adds by trying to orchestrate one.
If you wanna buy FTC, buy. If not, then don’t.
I tend to think sometimes when manipulators attempt to manipulate others they end up manipulating themselves. Oh the irony if that were true. =)
