Help with Quadro FX 570

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has been successful getting a decent hashrate out of this card. I have tried CGMiner, Cudaminer, and bfgminer, all without success. (Cudaminer runs, but autotune sets it to a very low setting, I get ~1kHash) Is this card really that bad, or am I just missing something? (Note: It shows that it is OpenCL 1.1 compatible in GPUCaps, and I have installed CUDA)

I’m not certain. You may want to post the settings you’re using. NVidia haven’t performed as well as ATI as a general rule for mining.

Here are the Cudaminer settings I was using:

cudaminer -o 127.0.0.1:8332 -O name:pass -i 1 -l auto (obviously name and password changed)

I have tried many combinations of the -l parameter, but all result in a crash except 1x1, which is what autotuning gets me, and about 1kHash.

I know that nVidia cards are a lot slower, but I figure I should be at least getting somewhere near the 20kHash my CPU is pushing out with it.

According to https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus your card has a cuda compute capability of 1.1, what is rather low. I was trying to mine with a geoforce 8400, which has the same comput capability and got 12kHash as a max.

I more or less started with the automatic settings and tried several different I parameters.
I think, the mining performance is dependent of the cards memory, if that is shared mem, you can’ expect high performance.

decided to invest ~50Eur on Ebay for an ATI 6670 with 1Bbit of mem and went up to 120kHash without immediatelly.
