Ruth and I will be going to Koolio’s meetup in the pub near New Street Station in Birmingham at 1pm this Sunday. Koolio will be making a big announcement on the day which any miner out there should be very interested to hear.

I’ve seen proof of concept of a scrypt based fpga miner, I haven’t seen it working yet… :)

Its proof of concept that they’ve got it work, now they need to make it bigger, better, faster.

aah, which means yes you can mine, but the hashrate is way to low. sweet!
People this should be an warning 8). if they do get fpga to work on scrypt with hashrate as to sha256 mining (mhash == khash of course), ftc diff will go way up.
Think of all the fpga boxes beeing unusable on bitcoin due to extremehashing from asics!
All those farms will redirect their power towards the alt coins, and i do think ftc is a high priority target ;D
