Wallet Developers Needed - This Keeps Coming Up
-
If you look at the feedback, the desire to make the wallet more user friendly is something that comes up time and time again. We need to either attract good wallet developer or raise funds to get some custom code completed. Bushstar can only do so much.
Here’s some ideas I had:
-
SECURE News Feed - think if every person that opened their wallet knew about the grassroots activity here (ex: Beer for Feathercoin)
-
New design - Something that doesn’t look like it came out of Windows 3.11 :)
-
Window that shows hash of client (that way we can post that same number on the website)
-
Auto-Update options
-
Better backup/recovery options
-
Link to chat
-
Link to support tickets (community can answer)
-
Video Tutorials integrated from our Feather tutorial team
-
Online banking type options (searching for transaction, auto pay address every Tuesday etc…)

Auto-update should be awesome, for your guy ‘Joe Sixpack’ it’s to “hard” to update the wallet.

[/quote]For ‘packaged’ Linux versions of thre wallet the autoupdate is part of the packaging. As soon as a new version is packaged, the autoupdate features in Linux will anounce the new version, which can be installed with one click.
No idea if windows has a similar function
