Somebody to help me configuring cgminer for my GPUs ?
-
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7222 : http://www.toshiba.com/us/computers/laptops/satellite/L770/L775D-S7222
I have 2 GPUs : 1 AMD Radeon HD 6520G and 1 AMD Radeon HD 7450MI use CGminer
I’m on FCPool, my Hashrate is 9 KH/s
I need some help to increase the productivity of my laptop without destroying it :oPS : Sorry for my English, i’m a French guy

How can you have 2GPUs in 1 laptop?
-
Sorry, but with this configuration you’ll invest much more through your power consumption that with earning FTCs. It’s not worth to use this device ;-)
Maybe it’s a good idea to use the calculator available on this page.

I’m a noob concerning technologies
But when I look at my peripherals (I don’t know if this is the right word to use) i have this about GPUs (in French)
I didn’t specify that I’m not paying the power consumption for this laptop ;D
I didn’t see the calculator, can you give me a link please ?
EDIT : I found the calculator, I see that with a 5 KH/s there is no profitability of Feathercoins for me, so I need to increase my Hash rate I think ???

It seems you have GPU integrated in CPU and also dedicated GPU chip.
There is good source of cgminer configurations for different GPUS:https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
But generally mining on laptop sucks, it is ok to stick erupter into every USB port you have, but for GPU mining I suggest to build cheap headless mining rig…
Thanks for the links, I had already seen the cgminer config for GPUS but I understand nothing for my laptop
I think that I need a cgminer.conf or a help to configure it by myself to increase the hash rate of my cgminerFinally, I don’t know what is " headless mining rig " :(

Finally, I don’t know what is " headless mining rig " :(
PC in minimum configuration swarming with gpus, basically:
cheap mainboard, cpu, ram, USB flash disk for Linux OS
and good quality power supply + some GPUsHeadless means you access it remotely via LAN (no need for monitor)…
I think I understand, but where can i find a headless mining rig to connect with so ?
And when I search a little on the Internet I see that some parameters of cgminer have to be changed depending on what is your computer or GPUS
-
^^ mining rig you have to build by yourself ;)
I dont want to redirect your energy to wrong direction. It might be wort to try Guiminer instead of cgminer…there is lot of cards setting in guiminer ready for instant use, so maybe you try some and see how it goes?
-
Ok, I will see for the mining rig :)
I saw before that CGMiner was better than Guiminer for GPUs, but if you recommend Guiminer I follow you ;D
