Latent coin rage.
But seriously. Maybe we need a balance to the most profitable coin switch feature. That’s based on how much fiat you can get. Maybe we need a multicoin switcher for how many coins you can get.
Think of it like this.
A circle is a shape with no sides. A shape with many sides looks like a circle. In a cryptoeconomy dominated by a stigmatized old dog and a confused deputy dog, both of which promote ‘get em while you can’ mentality, not counting actual usage, well frankly maybe we forgot we have a banking system bent on owning and spying on all the things. Each of the possible trades in our 30+ cryptocurrency community is one of those sides leading us toward a singularity.
This singularity isn’t where One Troo Coin will Rool Them All. This singularity is where none of the coins aside from the early old dogs, with the least productive communities, have any influence. The question is: Since people put in time and effort in their preferred currency, and we all pretty much have similar goals, why not break the old pattern of subsidizing Apples and Microsofts that profit from blocking competition in their markets as much as possible?

Incidentally, I’m reminded of when we chased off those militant miners who claimed that we OWED them a coin that matched their needs.
I GUARANTEE YOU, those fickle ADHD scene chasers would have killed this coin in yesterday’s BTC-e fiasco.

1. If we had allowed militant miners to tell us what to do, they would have crashed FTC on BTC-e yesterday, so screw those aimless fickle treasonous rats.
2. I want more coins. I don’t want more fiat. The circle represents all the transactions we could have if we focused on the coins instead of the quick buck.
