What power risers should I use?
-
I have:
- 3x Radeon HD 7970 (GV-R797OC-3GD) - www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4102
- mainboard Asrock 970 Extreme4 - http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970 Extreme4/
This motherboard has 3 x16 v 2.0 pcie slots, but I don’t want to put those cards inside pc case. Those will be outside. I’ve found 2 types of pcie x16-x16 cables that I can use, and I’m not sure what’s the difference and what should I use.
1st one:

There’s a fairly detailed sticky right at the top of this forum… ;)
