    Does the button in mu wallet that says start mining really mine?

      I downloaded the wallet along with the block chain and noticed a button that said start mining. I hit it and its saying im mining. What am I missing? Is this old?

        Built in CPU mining, which today isnt worth doing tbh.

          Thanks for the response. I want to learn everything I can about mining but need a basic how to mine feathercoins. I already own a nice amount of btc and ltc when I found feathercoin amongst the dozens of others. I like that feathercoin is community driven and would like to learn all I can and be part of a team with a goal like feathercoin.
          could someone point me to the very basics on how to get started mining on a first grade level.
