Hi
Anyone running 5970 ? I found six of this but can’t find any new info about this card, is it to old ? It supposed to have high h rate …
Thanks -
I am curious how much you are going to buy these for…i don’t care where just how much $.
These will work but probably wont give you great KH/Watts as they are now 3 generations old.

They cost 230 euro. I understand what you saying but currently the market is dead ,can’t find any decent graphic card :-\

Is there some undervolting trick or something for better Kh/Watts ratio ? ???

Seems like the R9 290’s are coming in stock pretty soon, that would be your best bet.

[/quote]Reduce their core voltage to 1.00V or maybe even 0.95V (default is 1.05V). May need to reduce their core clocks a little. Set the memory to 900MHz (3600MHz effective). When stable completely, try to reduce their auxiliary core voltage down to 1.00V (default is 1.10V). You need Radeon BIOS Editor by TechPowerUp. If unsure, don’t bother. Not much to gain there.

I thought the 5970s were the beasts you wanted when you couldn’t find 7950s this past year.
I mean, power hungry, sure, but they pull 700+. Do they use more than 300watt a piece?

Excellent link. That’ll actually be helpful to the OP.
