Edison's dollars - 1920 + Federal Reserve hacked

Why do we need a decentralised currency, why do we need more than one decentralised currency?
I don’t know how I missed this before, Edison’s dollars in 1920 a decentralised currency, invented as an answer to the first pangs of the American Depression.
We never got taught this in history either, but it is more and more plain that the destructive trend in human civilisation after the industrialised carnage of the American civil war, was accelerated by the privatisation of the world currency, the dollar, to the Federal Reserve in December 1913.
How the world is implementing Edison’s Dollars (AKA Bitcoin)

The Federal Reserve is one of the backbones of the American financial system, responsible for the nation’s money supply and holder of the largest stash of gold in the world. But in early 2013, it was hacked.

Still, this could be a glimpse in to the future. ^-^
I’m looking forward to the growth of feathercoin. Anyone think we will get recognized? We need to get in to the US industries before bitcoin.

During the depression, there were over 3,000 alternative currencies in ciruclation in the USA. It was the only way communities could survive. Shortly thereafter, they were all made illegal.

seems like advertising to me… There’s no true debate in this video, other than profit, profit and profit.

seems like advertising to me…
Agreed.

Yeah the link to edisons dollar was just a ploy to give bitcoin a longer history and associate it with edison to give it legitimacy.
Then comes the hard sell. To be fair they are right its a good investment but no one can promise 437% returns.
Hope no one got duped by this marketing.
Interesting take on bitcoin tho.
