Wondering peoples hash rate on XFX Radeon HD 7950 DD 3GB GDDR5
-
HI all,
I was wondering if anyone as the same GPU as me and wondering what hash rate you are rocking.
I am currently rocking 900/1250 with no power increase and fan speed manual 60% i get about 520Khash, temp 70c
I did use CGminer but i now use guiminer, I am planning on going back to cgminer like the auto fan option with target temp but not got round to sorting it out.
If there are any people using the same card as me, can you post your speed and what config your using?
So i can see if its worth using different config to squeeze a little more out of my GPU when mining at night online :)

I have 2 x the exact same cards. They were pretty cheap compared to some (less than £200 each). At the time these were the only 7950s I could get my mitts on! Back in November everybody wanted this model, but not this brand :o
They reliably make between 600-610 Kh/s each at between 75-77-degrees. No hardware errors.
They are over clocked with Afterburner, but I didn’t try to undervolt due to locking and the lack of BIOS switch for experimenting with firmware.
Either way they seem to run stable 24/7 and draw ~650 Watts at the wall (via cheap-ish bronze power cool 850w PSU… tut tut!).
Not sure if my numbers are good or not. I just put the ££ on one side each month for the electricity bill… I figure I’m having fun, so what the heck!
One thing I did notice is that this rig yields more actual FTC than my twin XFX 280x rig (which puts out ~1400Kh/s overall).
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://xxxxx -u xxxx -p xxxx -I 20 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24000 --temp-target 78 --auto-fan --gpu-powertune 20
Legend mate, :)
I will try these settings out some point tonight or the weekend when i get a moment, :) … If i can get 600 out of them without it over heating or causing to much damage to the cards, as im not selling them … :) I game more then mine should i say…
Thanks again mate,
I will let u know if ur settings work a charm,

No problem 8)
It helps if you have a fan blowing air across the rig as well. Sounds like yours might be sat in a case?
Note: mine are sat in a milk crate on long risers, so they are a good few inches apart from one another.

The issue i have mate,
Im currently more a gamer then a mining but it is slowly changing over time :) …
So at the moment you are infact right, my mining rig is currently setup in a standard case, the only plus my case is an antec advance gaming case which as many fans :P …
But if mining does take over my PC i think i may take the side of the case off
