Mt.Gox jokes

Today web is full of Gox jokes. I am really having a blast reading them. Here is a good one on Gox being THE most secure crypto exchange:

I am honestly happy Gox is failing. With the worlds largest (and most secure ;D) no longer being a contender there should be more exchanges that will compete for the spot which is good for us consumers.

After their fiasco last year I can’t believe anyone was still using them.
I think that the only reason they were still being used is that they were the original go-to place to buy Bitcoins. Other than that they don’t have any advantages over any other exchanges.

I’ve had about 0.001 btc stuck in there for months because it was below the minimum withdraw rate…not sure if I’m ever going to see them.

Unfortunately this is no laughing matter.
The reason the BTC price is tanking is because MtGox has basically revealed their coins were vulnerable to theft for… well… the entirety of their operation, they just now realized this, and they’re scrambling to figure out what to do about it.
The chances are pretty damn good that this will be the end of Gox forever, and those who had their money it will lose it. The only hope they have is the price tanks, and they quickly buy back what they lost (are you going, “Hmmm…” yet?).
