If i check my address balance using that api, it tells me the same balance as explorer.feathercoin.com

        http://api.ftc-c.com/?output=balance&address=6nn7UEWe147XzACMVeCET4rS248y4rRenU&json=1

If i check my balance on bitinfocharts.com, it shows the correct balance (same as what my wallet shows)

        https://bitinfocharts.com/feathercoin/address/6nn7UEWe147XzACMVeCET4rS248y4rRenU

My wallet shows the same value as bitinfocharts.com

Im not sure whats wrong with what hmmm

Please check the version of the Feathercoin wallet you are using.
The most up to date version is 8.7.1

There was a hard fork after version 8.6.2 which means this wallet version is no longer supported. We have contacted bitinfocharts about this problem as it seems they have not updated their software and are running on a (invalid) non-NeoScrypt version of the block chain as they are running wallet 8.6.2

It may be you are on the same invalid chain.

Any more info on your problem would be great. Thanks

I am running wallet version 8.7.1

I may try redownloading a new wallet on another pc and transferring to that, hope i dont lose my ftc :( would the fact i used btc-e be the cause?

I think btc-e should be fine

(could anyone else confirm using since the hard fork?)

Is that where you got the ~170 FTC that seem to be on the other fork?

                Last available block on https://explorer.feathercoin.com

                https://explorer.feathercoin.com/block/bed45f34f485cc3f188f5fc270f73907e70b338aac1f804ddc706ae0b53ff215

                The same block on https://bitinfocharts.com

                https://bitinfocharts.com/feathercoin/block/460985/bed45f34f485cc3f188f5fc270f73907e70b338aac1f804ddc706ae0b53ff215

Transactions and everything fully match up,

                The block times match too

                2014-11-16 16:38:27

Everything appears to match up, except that https://explorer.feathercoin.com seems to just “end” at that block, whilst the others continue

Whats interesting is that while ftc-c.com and bitinfocharts.com’s blockchains appear to be the same, they output a different balance amount when i query my ftc address

On ftc-c.com i have 2.284006 as here http://api.ftc-c.com/?output=balance&address=6nn7UEWe147XzACMVeCET4rS248y4rRenU&json=1 (same as what explorer.feathercoin.com shows here https://explorer.feathercoin.com/address/6nn7UEWe147XzACMVeCET4rS248y4rRenU), yet on bitinfocharts i have 186.83479683, as show here: https://bitinfocharts.com/feathercoin/address/6nn7UEWe147XzACMVeCET4rS248y4rRenU

                I am really confused :|

Also bitinfocharts.com reports they are on version 8.7.1

I mined around 120, transfered to btc, then usd, then once btc/usd dropped i transfered back to btc and back to ftc, netting me 164.45 to my new wallet (i paid out a small amount from the pool j mine out to make sure it worked, which is the 2.248006 ftc it shows).

Also now any transactions AFTER this (a couple of +5’s from mining payouts and a +10 from the ftc giveaway here) appear on bitinfocharts, but not on the others. The balance is loaded correctly and is fully accessible on my pc wallet (version 8.7.1)

Going to try completely reinstall the feathercoin wallet, (backed up my wallet.dat of course aswell as privkeys), i will test by simply letting it download the whole blockchain again and then put the old wallet on a copy on another pc and attempt to send across, i hope i can recover these coins :(

                      new address: 72f3YD1MWfiJFmhP4KPMh4U7GJoCPRZpK9

                      https://bitinfocharts.com/feathercoin/address/72f3YD1MWfiJFmhP4KPMh4U7GJoCPRZpK9

                      http://explorer.feathercoin.com/address/72f3YD1MWfiJFmhP4KPMh4U7GJoCPRZpK9

                      http://api.ftc-c.com/?output=balance&address=72f3YD1MWfiJFmhP4KPMh4U7GJoCPRZpK9

                      let’s see how things roll

nb: i completely deleted everything from my appdata/Feathercoin folder, so its currently redownloading the whole blockchain

once it’s loaded it all ill post to show balance in the software (im somewhat not optimistic looking at what my address shows on the link above)

well… at least one place shows my correct balance :D

edit: explorer.feathercoin.com still shows my old address balance as 2.284006… so does api.ftc-c.com :s

I’ve contacted Bushstar to check on the Blockchain Explorer going down. At least that should tell you something.

Really glad its resolved and you have your coins :)

Was it just redownloading the block chain that resolved this?
