Increase in interest usage of Blockchain technology?
-
I’ve seen a few quieter signs of usage as opposed to pump and dump hype.
The Blockchain seems to be turning into a magnet. The technology underlying the concept of cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin, is on everyone’s list of ‘favorites’ - be it financial or technology firms. Blockchain is a revolution, set to change the way many things are done, beginning with how payments are made across borders to trade settlements.
Use of blockchain offers reduction in transaction time, high speed and accuracy, meddle-proof records, all at reduced costs and supervision.

Cars are dead, lets all talk about motors!
Taking the same analogy, FTC is a car like all the others, except a supped up engine, honed from racing other alt-coins and polished with a few bug fixes and enhancements.
The article on “Banks adopting the Blockchain” is the equivalent of Victorian carriage manufacturers talking about fitting an engine to their horse and cart …

Just wondering what everyone is predicting re Blockchain? Apart from the obvious I thought of supporting social causes …
VolunteerCoin
A coin that gives you “brownie points” or “Good Karma”, but distributes it’s hash to secure “good causes” that are using BlockChain to record social information. i.e. It mines other coins for free.
For example, Hull Coin could request to added to the hash list, and a multi-signature vote would give, Hull Coin a proportion of the “free hashes”.
This means small projects or important social ledgers could be given a higher level of security.VolunteerCoin might support some core causes e.g. :
Lobby Coin - A block chain recording of every “lobby” our Government is subject to.
