UK Government should "Open Source" all services and Crown Copyright

I’ve started a petition to use Github to issue management UK Laws. You can’t do that so I did this instead. It needs 5 UK citizen signatures to go live.
UK Government should “Open Source” all services and Crown Copyright

I’ve made a petition – will you sign it?

UK should “Open Source” all services and Crown Copyrights.
“Open source” systems are advancing so fast. The UK Government should be at the vanguard in exploiting these systems.
By using and encouraging “open source” systems the UK would be encouraging open and visible standards around the world. Development in “open source” is currently so fast that important systems (even such as Government, currency or the Law ) will be overtaken with technical solutions without a chance of scrutiny or input, unless they participate.

It had to be modified down to fit in with the UK petition regulations.
What I wanted was the actual UK Laws to be moved from Hansard to Github, where anyone can raise an issue. However, there didn’t seem to be an open source petition when I did the search, so I raised one.
I work by drafting, then correcting. So, even though I checked it myself > 12 times , it does need a further “tweak”. I wouldn’t use fast twice or encourage.
