My rigs
-
Hey!
Just wanted to share my rigs and settings if anyone wants to optimize their simmilar setup.
I currently have 3 rigs, 10x 7950 ( VTX3D RADEON HD 7950 X-Edition Boost), but planning to expand in the future ;)
Right now i only have 8 cards running, since there was a RMA problem ( lesson to learn : don’ t try saving on GPUs :/)
RIght now I am setup with 4 cards on rig1, 3 on rig2 and 1 on rig3 (+2more to come).
Other specs :Mobos: Asrock 970 extreme4
Cpus: Semperons 145
Ram: 6gb on rig2 and rig3, 8gb on rig1 (could probably run with less, but ram is cheap)
PSUs: Chieftec BPS-1200 (rig1) , Corsair hx1000 (rig2) and Cool master 850w (rig3) , all psus were bough cheap second hand :DThe case I made myself for less then 50€ out of some aluminium frame, the cards are suspended above with risers (using x16 to x1 risers, some are modified with molex connectors (very easy and saves you about 10€).
Running windows 7 x64 with SDK 2.7 and 13.3 beta3 drivers
Settings for cards after a lot of tweeking I found a sweetspot between temps and hashes:
i20, w256, tc 22400
overclocked and undervolted with msi afterburner:
engin 1075, memory 1575, vddc 1.087, powertune 12Running about 630-640 khash/s at about 75C - 85C
Runs stable for about 10 days now, checking on them with logmein and also autorestarting cgminer with cgwatcher every 6h.
I have them at an office, where i dont have to pay for electricity (only rent :D), there is a big fan blowing air directly at the GPUs, with a pipe “catching” the hot air and a smaller fan blowing it out the window, looks very ghetto for now.
Pics when I finish my finals, right now i dont have time to go to the office. If you have any questins, fire away :)

I too would love to see the pics. I am especially interested in the dimensions of your custom aluminum frame. :D
[/quote]I also use an aluminum frame
rig pictures here http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=264.msg1601#msg1601I kept the dimensions simple, 500mm across by 250mm deep and 250mm high.
