I’ve had a look at Kickstarter and indiegogo, they do charge quite big fees. They are also quite complex sites with a lot of legal requirements sections and such.
The most we could expect with Feathercoin is a mini version to bounty pet projects, which would still be good. In the end partnering with big specialist cloud financing to have a crypto currency section would be the most efficient way forward.
We would have to cloud source to develop our cloud source site as a separate issue as the devs have loads of network security and other developments.

A great start, all you need to do is add the payment handling for FTC. I’m sure there are other examples as well. Doing this in WooCommerce would be very cool too.

Oh, that reminded me, I remembered seeing this:

The basis of what’s provided is “one person, one project at a time”, but perhaps someone could take it to the next level where people could generate those pages/projects through user accounts.
It’s at least a foundation to branch off of while still holding control instead of a 3rd party handling it.
