What do you care about? (BTC's passive cultural void is collapsing)

Community is the substance of a currency. Nothing else matters.
The question is not what do want to buy or sell. The question is what do we want to accomplish?
What do you care about?
What do you want to do?Can we be more than a currency forum?
Can we be a living community that gets things done?Time to move.

Without community open source doesn’t really mean anything because there’s nothing very open about the source.
Responses. No coin is going to survive on speculation alone. What do you want to do?
What would you be doing if all you had were dollars?
Think Mozilla.org style community.

For me the biggest problem with Bitcoin is all the parts of the ecosystem that are centralised like Gox and the ASICs. Team China is top of the rankings on BTC Guild by quite a margin and a lot of high net work individuals are now trying to corner the market in terms of mining.
I would like to see innovation in the hashing algorithm that ensures that a digital currency resists this kind of manipulation and the development team is commited to achieving this; for me an ideal currency should make everyone better off and certainly not a allow a small group to accumulate so much of it that everyone else is pushed in to barter trade.
Well we have all seen what banking systems have done to the world economy these last few years, we don’t need them with feathercoin, I want this medium of exchange to be the future (that’s before we all go star trekkie and do stuff for the betterment of humanity instead of a wage or salary).
I care about feathercoins community.
Anything I can.
I thought we already where more than a currency forum.
I like to say yes, but we are going to have to be very grown up, learn to put aside any personal differences and have fun doing it all.
