Feathercoin Mobile phone Apps?

I don’t use mobile, but I’ve been getting some family members to try Feathercoin Wallet application, on android. It seems to work, very well, they received payments quickly and there was a code reader.
however I have a couple of questions.
1. Is the Feathercoin android Mobile app associated with Feathercoin developers?
2. How much extra data do you use on your phone syncing the app?I haven’t seen so much on mobile phone apps, so I thought a thread to get some discussion going would be good.

Afaik it is independent, made by the ltc wallet app people.

Just curious–is it working well or has anyone had problems with it?
Mobile apps like this are important to increasing real-world usage–and no coin is going anywhere without real-world usage.

I’ve never had a problem with it and have conducted many transactions with it. The only problem I’ve heard about is that sometimes the fee is set too low and the transaction will never happen, in that case you can reset the blockchain and resend.
