Was planning some solomining (LP varies from sites?)

Hi.
Was planning to do some solomining for the exitement=)
however when i tried to use failover (to get LP) from coinotron i got connection trouble and no stratum from pool detect new block (only new block from my client).
I then changed it to give-me-ftc but now i get alot of Pool 1 difficulty changed to xx…

Should i get LP from somewhere else?

The diff is because the pools accept lower difficulty shares that what is needed to solve a block where as solo mining the only shares you submit to the client are full difficulty ones.

sorry, im using failover-only yes.
gues failover-only is set to true with cgminer --failover-only -o ? or do i need to add something else?
