Do you want other ideas?, its a great idea. I hate Gold, Silver and Copper. We need our own memes to pre empt those invented by the other coins or journalists.

One problem with yours is we are all open source, and we should emphisis we build on the shoulders of giants for a special purpose, ie a usefull normal everyday currency. Never mention the “opposition / alternatives” , only why Feathercoin is great.

The big problem with any graduated scale is that you’re implying value, psychologically restricting and being co-dependent on something else.

Best way I say to deal with it is there’s different crypto-currencies just like there’s different world currencies. USD, Euro, Pound Sterling, Yen, etc.

This keeps the people on board who don’t want there to be a one-world currency. Of which, even with the benefit of simplicity of it, there are plenty of detractors whether it be for conspiracy or religious fundamental reasons.
