      I dropped from 365 KH/s to 316 KH/s (7850) at intensity set to 16, but the number a shares accepted per minute has increased over w/ v3.0. In v3.0 at i16 I would average 8.5 share/m. In v3.1 I’m seeing 14 share/m at times, but averaging around 11 s/m at the moment.

      Is it just me?

EDIT : After tweaking my settings I’m back to 365 KH/s with v3.1 now. Currently at 14.1 shares/m.

      –worksize 256 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1125 --thread-concurrency 8192 -v 1 --intensity 19

      In v3.0 I was able to achieve 365 KH/s with gpu-engine 900. Maybe I got lucky.

As far as I know cgminer hasn’t changed (for desktop hardware) since 2.11.x.
All of the updates to cgminer have been in favour of ASICs and other developments. No changes to the desktop (GPU/ATi/Nivida) side of things.

Doh. Do you have a source for this info? I’m curious to read up on this since I’m new to mining.

See the Github NEWS file for the information/full changelog of cgminer:

v3.0 shows a lot of scrypt fixes. I assumed these were universal fixes for all miners. Is that not the case?

              I then upgraded to v3.1 because … it’s + 0.1 higher!

It’s like an amp volume knob that goes to 11, I just had to have it.

From the conversation(s) I remember in WeMineLTCs IRC there hasn’t been any changes for Desktop Miners. Enhancements and changes but none that really benefit the desktop environment.

This is the discussion thread for cgminer, at least the most comprehensive one.

I had to switch my worksize from 128 to 256 to get back lost hashrate.
