The slots are great! I had a few spins, I got a problem with acquiring the address (win7/Firefox) I cant highlight it as it selects the whole section and deselects when page checks for deposit, I had to right click on address and “open in new page” so the address was in the address bar.
Clicking on it does not copy to clipboard, shows a clipboard of the address in the lower left but goes as soon as I move my mouse.

Changed to the US pool. Might help with the 200MS+ lag I was having.
I’ve had my equipment over at someone’s house for the past week so I’ve been able to run the whole time. Been great, pretty reliable. Actually getting to experience mining as one should with 24/7 op.
When you click the address it’s supposed to open your wallet and paste the address straight in to send box along with a default amount all ready for you to hit send. For some reason though it doesn’t work for some users. :'(
Can you chech that you have the latest client? There we’re apparently 2* 6.4.4 clients. one with support for ftc url and one without. May be worth redownloading/installing.
That was the plan. We decided to host in Dallas as that’s fairly central and has good links back to the UK where the core DB server is hosted. Where are you based and whats your ping times?
Also, can you all please ensure you have fail-overs setup (to another one of our servers (uk/us/jp) as I’m doing a lot of juggling and tweaking, so i will be restarting various sections of the system. We have multiple everything so as long as you have fail-overs configured, you should have 0 downtime.
Thanks for mining with us and feel free to spread the word! ;D

Can anyone that has their miners pointing to ftcpps.nut2pools.com:5565 please redirect them to either…stratum+tcp://uk.nut2pools.com - if you are a UK/EU miner
stratum+tcp://us.nut2pools.com - if you are a US based miner
stratum+tcp://jp.nut2pools.com - if you are a JP or AU minerDon’t forget to configure another server/location as your secondary pool too!
The ftcpps.nut2pools.com stratum server will be shut down soon to facilitate the migration to our new servers, DB clusters and DDoS protection and in a bid to reduce the already EXTREMELY LOW number of stale shares (I now get 0 stales from the new “uk.nut2pools.com” server!).
Unfortunately CGminer won’t connect to a new ip addresses once it’s started so even if i re-point the DNS - cgminer will still latch on to the old server until it’s restarted. :'(Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience

We now have stratum server on 3 different continents, and a fully resilient system! With PLENTY of room to grow ;D

Hi all!
We have been taking a major kicking this last period. To keep the pool floating we need to
adjust the pool fee from 2% to 3%. We are not happy with this but see it as a last resort.
To give everyone a heads up on this we will wait 24hours before we adjust the fee.If the bad luck continues we will be forced to go prop instead of pps.
-
Suggestion:
Since the original fee for the pps was going to be 5%, it was only in good faith that you guys dropped it to make it less intimidating. Maybe make a recommendation (here, news page on the pool site) to those of us that pull 2MH+ to tack on an additional 2% to match the original projection. And anyone pulling under that to just donate what they can. It’s what I’m doing (well, doing now, now that I realize there’s such a hole you guys are covering).
Yes, I agree with this, I pushed my donation up to 2% so you get 5% of my earnings.
However, I think everyone should pay the same, As there are going to be alot more mining smaller hash rate than the sum of the bigger miners, So I don’t think this will solve the problem, I think you should implement the PPLNS alongside PPS for now, There will be a load who prefer this and will take a load off.
I’m having a system problem at the moment so I can only run during the day, So PPS is good for me, As soon as it’s stable with my other hardware, I would be happy to run on PPLNS 24/7.
PS a tip sent to the pool, Keep it going guys. 8)

Thanks guys - really appreciate the support… :)
We seem to of had a bit of luck over the last day so as Svennand would say, we dodged a bullet… For now.
We would REALLY like to stick with PPS as it gives miners a certain amount of assurance in knowing what their income will be. It’s also good for part time miners and that was the aim of the pool… To allow ALL miners whether large or small, full or part time to benefit.
There are tons of PPLNS pools but we wanted to be different. Proportional was an option as part time miners will get their payouts quickly but they are susceptible to pool hoppers. PPS ticks all the boxes and hopefully that was just a slump and things will get better. If however the pool wallets do run dry, we will switch to a proportional pool so that part time miners will still be looked after.
I am planning on resurrecting the pplns pool too for those that would prefer that type of payout system.
Lastly, I’m wanting to start some pools up for other coins (pplns). Any suggestions?
Thanks again for your loyalty guys & gals - may the luck be with us!!! ;)
-
ftcpps.nut2pools.com stratum is now shutdown permanently.
Make sure you point your miner to one of the UK/EU/JP servers!, and please have failover set to one of the others in case of maintenance etc.Happy Mining! ;D

Also planning on deploying another US node and i’m open to suggestions - where should it be. Current US server is in Dallas but thinking of putting one in NY or CA (maybe both if there’s enough interest…) any preferences?
-
My vote is for NY or Boston!!!
-
If no one else votes can I pick the east cost server locale?
-
Tell you what - i’ll stand up an NY server AFTER you sort your payout addy!!! :P
Joking aside i need to move that server and really don’t want to juggle whilst your funds are in there… :-\

Hi i am trying to reconnect to the Mining Pool as I have not done so since the move. It is coming up on my miner with: No servers could be used! Exiting. Is there a way to fix this?
Thank You
-
I have now fixed this.
-
What server have you specified?
We decommissioned the original stratum server (ftcpps.nut2pools.com) and replaced with 3 new ones. See the original post on his thread for details. If you are still having issues let me know.
Nut.
