You’ve all seen the bitcoin wallet cards. Well Feathercoin could use a similar approach. Use it like an ATM transaction, swipe the card enter a 4-8 number pin code, and bam out comes Feathercoin. I don’t think a fiat conversion is even necessary. Add a chip in each card that will have your number hard coded also, so thieves can’t just slap an address on a magnetic strip. But in either case they’d still need a pin code to use it. The wallet already has this function, so why not miniaturize it.
I think a magnetic strip is better, the technology is readily available instead of relying on a qr scanner or even a bar code since many merchants are already familiar with the technology. If you lose your card, get another one and change the pin code just in case. It would streamline everything.
