      Hola amigos,

So, as a fairly newbie miner, I’ve been running a single 7950 for the past five months and recently have had a few issues with card going out and system freezing. I’m wondering what you guys think about putting our more experienced mining minds together to build a toolbox of opensource apps/batch file tips on maintaing uptime and having a method of remotely verifying uptime? There’s probably a bunch of other things I am not even aware that some of the more advanced users rely on.

It would also involve all the basics, GUI Scrypt/CGminer, links to FTC pools, cgminer settings etc. etc.

      Thoughts?

I don’t know how this got buried; I think it’s a fantastic idea. I’ll start bookmarking some sites and possibly even start putting some info together myself.

I’ve been categorising the threads [solved] etc as part of our new policy to make the forum as useful as possible. I will help you produce any guides. I also added [FAQ] where I found a useful thread.

The highest priority for that reorganisation was Support, in case any one had not been helped. Maybe Suggestions should be next to be re-organised?

In this case the mining field is wide and changing, and also many guides are about.

I am for a list of guides, and will pin any work you do here, and help where I can.

However - Mining Thread - might be the best area to get this kicked off and that’s why it got buried…
