Anybody want to comment?? ;)
yeah… i will not comment this… just takes me down a bad path…
For an “independent and fact based” news site it SURE has alot of personal opinions from the socalled writer.Oh and btw.

Done. Stopped reading.
He’s fishing for site hits. Any arguing you guys do in the comments are only going to give him what he’s written this thing for.
Worry about it if it takes the first page of Google’s hit results. Otherwise ignore it.
The name is perhaps the most important part of a coin.
Now I have coffee all over my monitor.
I suppose naming a coin after yourself is a billion times mo’better than using imagery to convey a lightweight/swarm/ultramicropayment paywall currency.

Hazard also offers a service to help you build your own coin… btw.
+1 Exactly!
Do not feed the trolls you are just giving them what they want. Don’t even do it on Bitcoin talk. If you see a troll report it as spam but do NOT engage. Instead you should direct your efforts on promoting the positive commenters on the thread and thus showing the trolls that they are not going to spoil what we have worked so hard to build.
Now, if someone makes a very articulate comment that is critical of our coin that is something else entirely. And you should thank them for their feedback and tell them that it’s important to us because it helps us grow. And only respond by refuting the central points of the argument even if they did make a few personal attacks themselves.

Oops I already replied!

The term Feather I assumed was refering to the lighter class as used in boxing featherweight and super feather weight class. Its a shame you think the whole coin is a sham but it does seem your opinion is not shared by everyone as there is quite a large community growing around this quite young coin.
I would love to see or hear some evidence to back your claims regarding bribery and btc-e. Its great to show u can jump to conclusions but your comments about marketing are true bushstar and others are very good at promoting the coin I would assume this was the real reason feathercoin was adopted.
Its much easier to smash others ideas than it is to come up with your own. So well done.
Ok,
Now the tough question:
Do you want articles like this in PR sticky? Your opinions please.
-
Nope.
I replied with a slightly sarcastic tongue-in-cheek comment and he replied with the garbage quoted above about the coin’s name. Timewaster fishing for site hits just about sums it up.

This feature was originally part of PPCoin, and yet, no credit is given. One must dig around on github to see that Sunny King (PPcoin dev) authored the commit. There’s no mention of him anywhere in the release post.
Can we change that?
