[b]How many bloggers could you reach out to by the end of the week to get them to adopt Feathercoin? [/b]This could help spread the word as well as helping them to monetize their content. [url=http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?action=profile;u=15766][b]@Birddog[/b][/url] came to me a couple of weeks ago with a great idea for some blogger outreach. He asked me to present it to the forum by reshaping some of his words, which didn’t need much so here it is:

Basically my idea is to reach out to Bloggers and Forum users and introduce them to Feathercoin

I think this is something that could really help get Feathercoin adopted by the mainstream, and it is something that can be done with very little effort.

I think one of the best ways we can [b]utilize these cryptos is as a vehicle to pay one another for services[/b]. More and more people are working from home over the internet and they lack a useful way of getting paid.

[b]Use Cases:[/b]
Say your a blogger and your writing a commissioned piece for someone that is halfway across the world, Feathercoin would be a perfect way to send money to that person. Or, say you’ve got a motorcycle and your searching on forum looking for a hard to find part and you’ve found someone that has that part. That person lives far away, or in a country that accepts a different currency… you could pay them with Feathercoin.

[b]My vision is that I see Feathercoin as a very useful tool for bloggers looking to monetize their websites[/b] and also for forum users looking to pay one another for goods and services. The release of the Feathercoin donation widget is perfect for this application.

This could be used using UKMark’s [url=https://github.com/Mark-Leck/FeatherCoinWidget]FTC Coin Widget[/url] or by the user simply putting their FTC address on the page.

I was thinking about writing up a general piece of literature about how Feathercoin works and then sending it to some of the blogs and forums I follow to see if they would be interested in incorporating Feathercoin into their works. -[b] We could brand this as a 5 minute 3 step process[/b]

This job would require knowing how to do direct sales. Which is a bit of a fine art because you need to make sure that it is relevant to the person you are talking to and respect their time.
