Hi, I’m trying to set up a xubuntu rig with one Radeon HD 5450. I tought I had it all figured out, until I started cgminer.
It gives me the following error:
[2013-11-25 13:30:55] Started cgminer 3.3.1ERROR: could not insert ‘nvidia_319_updates’: No such device
FATAL: Module fglrx not found.
Error! Fail to load fglrx kernel module! Maybe you can switch to root user to load kernel module directly
FATAL: Module fglrx not found.
Error! Fail to load fglrx kernel module! Maybe you can switch to root user to load kernel module directly
Now, I’m not too steady in Linux, so I was hoping anyone could help.
How can I fix this?
Why is it trying to insert nvidia_319_updates?I installed the catalys13.4 package form ati.
When I run
aticonfig --lsa
, i get the following output:
* 0. 08:00.0 ATI Radeon HD 5400 Series
* - Default adapter
Thanks!
