New Card - R9 290X Single card FTC mining

Does anyone have a pool to recommend? Even a config file would help a ton.
I’ve tried CGMiner, GuiMiner etc with little to no luck.
Coinotron and WeMineLTC.com both give weird errors when hashing with cgminer.
My share contributions are either Above or Below the Target… whatever that means. I’ve been messing with command line arguments to no avail. If I can get this thing accepting shares at the seemingly 8-900 range of MHashes/s then I’ll buy another… I just can’t get a share accepted.
TL;DR; Shares are below or above target mining scrypt. CGMiner ATI R9 290X

What are your settings for the card?

r270x ~ HD7870
r280 ~ HD7950
r280x ~ HD7970
r290 ~ HD7990
r290x is reported to get around 1100 - 1200 khash so far.
No miner is completely optimized for the new AMD series so these numbers are likely to change in the future. Also i have heard that AMD is going to change the chip architecture further in later revisions of this series (this should hopefully increase hashrates further). -
This may be just a typo but I noticed you said mhash.
Its should be in khash as its in scrypt (obviously if you have some crazy card u may get 1.1mhash = 1100khash)
make sure when you compile cgminer you enable scrypt, -
