Woo got my first vanity address! I actually used oclvanitygen to get it since it’s faster with a gpu, but I used yours for a shorter pattern and it worked! Not to mention I used the parameters you had for yours to generate the address in oclvanitygen. Thanks UKMark!
Great news and thanks for FB, I will add support for the GPU generators eventually.
I am slowly thinking that importing the private keys from cmd is not a valid option as far as I can tell this is done via the Feathercoin daemon when ran from command line or that the client needs a .conf to be ran as a -server (both of which add further headaches tbh, considering that importing them into the client manually is not really rocket science to do) I may just simplify things a little so the user can import themselves from a generated text file or similar. Still undecided though :-\
If anyone does know of a way to import private keys directly into the client from cmd can you please post below with a how-to… 8)

v1.02 released OP DL link & source updated.
Been busy today :)Changelog:
Now offers full GUI frontend (vanitygen now runs as hidden background task)
Added error message for invalid Feathercoin pattern input (as reported by vanitygen)
Added README to menu button
Added ability to store created keys
Added ability to view stored keys
Added ability to permanently delete stored keys (recommended if you are using any of them in your wallet)
Added ability to install program in the directory of your choice. As I have now set vanitygen as a background task I will be adding the ability to open up stored keys in a text editor for easier copy & pasting of the Private Key, for now any stored keys are located at \FTCVanity\key.txt
If anyone feels that they are getting false positives for the input pattern error, then please let me know below and include the exact pattern that you entered.

v1.03 released.
Changelog:
Added ability for user to select whether vanitygen runs in hidden (default) or verbose (open) mode.
Added ability for user to open stored Vanity Addresses & Private Keys in notepad.exe for easier importing (copy/paste etc) in to the Feathercoin client.
Added further error checking for any reported Pattern Errors that are definite false positives (an error message will be displayed if this bug is encountered for the user to report here on the forum).
Cleaned up main menu background graphic to remove excessive image noise in white areas. -
v1.04 released.
Changlog:
FTCVanity is now totally menu driven (see latest screenshot in OP)
Updated menu screen graphics with animated matrix and Feathercoin logo
Now support oclvanitygen for faster GPU vanity address generation
.exe also comes bundles with verified OpenCL.dll which is required for oclvanitygen to work.I have no means of testing oclvanitygen because all of my GPU’s are tied up on my Linux miner, so I am relying on user Feedback as to whether it works as should :)

v1.05 Minor bug fixes -
Changelog:
Fixed type mismatch error on initial launch (this only happened on certain versions of Win 7 :-\ Weird to say the least) < Thanks to Markus1337 for reporting this!
Added part fix for the unable to generate… error (this mainly affects slower systems) Still debugging this issue fully though and will update a final fix in due course! -
v1.07 (v1.06 never made official release :) )
Changelog:
Added settings menu.
Can now be configured to generate vanity addresses for Feathercoin, Litecoin & Bitcoin.
Added run once self configuration on first run, this is basically a short test to measure system performance of the PC FTCVanity is installed on. this is to enable trouble free operation even on the slowest of PC’s. < That’s the plan anyway :)
Edit: Also vanitygen, vanitygen64 & oclvanitygen now start minimised, so if you wish to see progress output on longer patterns, etc, simply double click the black CMD window in the systray. Will update the Github source later on today, Download link updated in OP along with new screenshots added.

v1.09
Changelog:
99.9% bug free, I would say 100% but that would be tempting fate.
Improved initial once only benchmarking configuration script to take an average over 5 iterations of the test, this gives a far more accurate result to enable configuration for system performance differences down to milliseconds.…And that’s it really, don’t think I can take this much further now, apart from maybe an auto import key feature, when/if the client becomes more accessible.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed with feedback and a BIG thanks to Markus1337 for his bug reporting an improvement ideas/suggestions. 8)
Enjoy! :)
Very good job you did there Mark! OpenCL (GPU) seems stable for my PC and almost doubled the key/s rate compared to the CPU. Anyone interested it is really worth checking it out 8) -
I was having some problems with 1.07, but 1.09 seems to be quite awesome.

Looks like v1.10 is just around the corner…

While this does not affect functionality, its a tad confusing to say the least :D
I simply forgot to add the $name variable to the error message box, I will sort and push later! 8)

v1.10 ^^Above minor bug now fixed:

That makes a bit more sense now :)
OP installer.exe link updated, I will update source later on today.

If a wallet is encrypted, type in the console before importing a private key:
walletpassphrase YourPassword Seconds
Unlocks the wallet for a number of seconds specified, continue with importprivkey as usual.
dumpprivkey shows it for a given address, proceed as above for encrypted wallets. -
Awesome! thanks for this, I don’t suppose you know of way to import into the client (not daemon) via cmd and without setting it up as a server? I just want to fully offer a one app does all tbh without too much user intervention…

Hmm, didn’t try it that way…
No worries, I have tried various routes and always come up blank on this. :(
Anyway I have added your useful info to the OP, thanks again for sharing! 8)
