Short Answer is NO.

I would love to scream panic sell, sell, sell, sell, but only to benefit myself.

Really I’m worried it won’t stay low, the lower it is the more I can get.

I bought 7 litecoin when it peaked at $60aud…

All the crypto’s just follow the movements of bitcoin basically.

Once all crypto’s have had enough time to mature and grow to the point where it’s as adopted as mobile communications is now, they will essentially all be the one currency.

Bitcoin is like a proof of concept for the platform itself. Think of it like Bitcoin been the network or platform and the “unit bitcoin” itself been different. (Note the use of caps)

Each network like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin, and quite a few more, I think, in the end will represent different denominations ($1, $10, $100, $1000, $10k, $100k).

Similar to the way note and coin allows for easier to the eye transactions. Having 5+ decimal places is all well and good, but in society we have a tendency to keep things as simple as possible. Advertising and marketing would need to have the price displayed simpler so customers can quickly and easily compare product prices against those of the competition.

Thousands | hundreds | tens
Eg. 50btc 3ltc 7ftc.

or to not show favoritism , a different example where the item is more rounded and worldcoins are in replacement of litecoins

Thousands | hundreds
Eg. 50btc 30nmc

This is, just, my theory anyway. I could just as likely be wrong.

But nah man. Not stressed. Just curios.

Be patient, it’ll bounce back.

whats way more interesting is this http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/ and sort by volume . you will notice that ftc trading volume is up there with the top coins as listed on coinmarketcap , way higher that ppc for example , 3 times as much as qrk and 8 times the wdc volume . do not pay too much attention to the numbers posted on coinmarketcap

ckfree5; great site, thanks… Finally have some insight in the volumes now :) But I am still pretty scared about the FTC price right now, seems to drop way harder than other coins… I have been preaching to hold FTC in the good ol’ trollbox on BTC-E for a week now, but now it is just continueing to descend towards delisting. And when it is delisted by BTC-E, this party is pretty much over I think.

EDIT: I have absolutely no clue when a currency gets delisted, but I am pretty sure FTC shouldn’t keep on halving in value for much longer…

EDIT2: Although… I just noticed that miningcomputer on the marketplace is slowly starting to get to a “normal” price… just 25k$ now! :D

Delisting FTC from btc-e will be great for FTC if it happens, look at Worldcoin as an example, MCXNow shuts down, but then it gets great volumes across 3 exchanges making it more stable.

MCXNow shutting down was great for worldcoin.

Btc-e will delist FTC when it is no longer making money for Btc-e(making money for btc-e depends on trade volume, number of coin bought and sold).
As what happened early in year to CNC.

CNC (Chinacoin) was added on btc-e on May 6th 2013 http://btc-e.com/news/150
it was announced on 23 June 2013 to close trading and delisted on 10 July 2013 http://btc-e.com/news/164

CNC was going nowhere in any case as it had no support or community and it was stuck in a deep space diff trap.

But people always get worried when FTC drops, then the same people always go why didn’t I buy it when it was dirt cheap, buy low sell high, its that simple, whats not simple is controlling your panic button and only you can do that.

For me FTC under 5 dollars is cheap, I’m in it for the long term and for the revolution, this is our chance in history to control directly our way of exchanging goods and services, to cut out a lot of the useless middlemen, to get a fair price, to make a happy balanced world for our kids and the future.

It’s an opportunity to get them cheap. Everyone is really unsure at the moment. The bitcoin value shot up in such a short space of time and so have some of the others. Things are slowly settling and after that it is only going to go one way ^^^

I’m sure there will be pits and troughs along the way

How can it not go up with all the new interest going on ?? We obviously have a lot of people cashing in at the moment and fair play to them, but more people are getting in on crypto now and FTC is only just starting out still.

You can even see the extra interest in the forum and also the trading volumes on btc-e. The future is bright, the future is FeatherCoin :-)
