but for some reason if i dont have anything with power plug in the the display ports, i can’t even see anything on team view, soon as i plug my monitor in, it becomes ok.but my friend with same setup, dont need any plugs at all
i think i seen somthing around about having to plug a fake plug in? anyone know what that is call?
or can anyone recommend me somthing else? or a solution?

[/quote]A dummy plug.
Basically, you take your VGA>DVI adapter, stick 3 75 OHM resistors in the sockets, and you’re good to go.

This guide is very comprehensive and should be added to the guides here.
I am left with one question though as the guide talks about WIN being the part of the system your trying to trick into thinking a monitor is supplied using the dummy plug. So does operating a miner with BAMT on a flash drive require these too? Or does the BAMT not have the built in idler that WIN has?
Thanks
