Pci-e risers in Norway
-
Hi guys, finally got part of mine pci-e risers delivered (tracking number says they in Oslo already, so few more days I guess). But, there is another problem : it will be not enough and I need to get more. Any 1 knows where I can get them as they sold out in few places that I knew :'(
Also considering of buying them from eBay, they are at around 20 kroner each plus delivery. So if some 1 willing to buy together it will be cheaper to get it fast by air post. Let me know if some1 finds this interesting. I can buy on my eBay account, and later we can find a way to use maybe escrow service or something like that, and I can post them to you. Btw I’m looking and not powered risers. As the cheapest powered now is at 300 kroner + at the same seller that I bought for 39 kroner (still didn’t received and I doubt I will) . -
pretty expensive but have a look http://www.digitalimpuls.no/PC-komponenter/Kabinett/Tilbehør/Diverse/OEM-Riser-card-PCI-Express-x16--15-cm---ideelt-for-små--trange-kabinetter-124126-p0000071522.aspx

my god…
that price is just out off wack! -
Can see they out of stock even with that price Padda. Think will get 20-40 from eBay. And with with DHL delivery should be not more than 40-50 kroner. Unless customs will add some taxes, which is possible because of the amount ;-)
Just for fun :D These following lines is from emails with Chinese seller’s on EBay

I’m interested to buy 30-50 pcs if price is ok, and will pay for air parcel by DHL. Thanks
A: Dear friend, thank you for you are interested in our items, well ,this item is sold so hot that we have not inventory now, so we add zero to the price. -

Your Fortune Sven Depends on how long it will take to another “factory’s” to catch up with it :o Than it will be back to normal £4-£5 .
Btw any idea how long they last ? As I thinking, that I have to leave extra for my self in case it will fail . -
The build quality is pretty weak, if your gonna fiddle around you are damned that some of those solderings are gonna get loose.
Happend to me a bunch of times in the old days.
So yeah, i would definitly buy a couple of extra as spares.Which is why i have a couple in overhead.

Cool. Ordering 50 ::) units now . With express delivery will cost me like 22 kroner each .Well if Customs hit me hard it can be more, but still not above 30 kroner I think. Only problem is that they not powered. Which leads me to that awesome article about homebrew Powered risers :)
