      My local CEX store has got a ATI Radeon Pitcairn HD7870 2gb (DX 11.1) for £145 …

      Would this be a suitable 1st timers card for mining FTC ?

      I have been researching now for weeks and really want to take the plunge. I have the system in place and just need to choose a graphics card and join a pool. However I am really struggling to find information on this card for mining. It does seem like a decentish price though.

      If anyone has a bit of guidance about what I can expect from this card I would be highly grateful.
