I have never been so sure of something in my entire life. Those threads over in /r/dogecoin have steeled my resolve as to how important this is.
I’m ready to give nearly anything to make it so.
Also, for what it’s worth, I feel that anyone whose first kneejerk reaction is “you can store child porn in that”, is, in fact, a child molesting asshole.
So apparently the /r/dogecoin subreddit is full of 'em.

I certainly didn’t mean to start a shitstorm last night. What started as a PM to encourage someone that DOGE could potentially be worth 100 Satoshi once again wound up being the post I made and apparently the monstrosity on it’s frontpage, now.
But the reality has since become hilarious. I’m simultaneously amused and horrified by the dogecoin community.
Kev, you were right about making it agnostic. [i]Were you ever so right.[/i] At first I was like “meh, FTC really needs the shot in the arm fo-” but now I realize these idiots would be running around screaming and crying that it’s some how the piracy and child porn coin.

Honestly, this whole thing was a ploy to raise DOGE up from 0.00000028 to 0.00000030 so that I could liquidate 3 million DOGE that my bot bought on accident without incurring a loss. GREAT JOB, GUYS. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

What if I told you … I never donated 250 to Kevlar for Dogecoin support and he was never going to add Dogecoin or Catcoin or any other coin? It was all just a publicity stunt.

I was toying with the idea of launching Leadcoin, and my entire purpose behind it was to tie it into a FPS, the mechanics of which I’d be happy to discuss in detail privately, and that I’ve been conceptualizing with a small team here at home. In meatspace. I still plan to do that, and the process would still require a large propagation of coins easily accessible, but:
What specs for a coin would make it [i]ideal[/i] for LINK? There was reasons DOGE worked, but not quite to my envision of “okay, wait here on this site for two minutes. okay, you’ve earned enough coin mining through your browser to now submit to the blockchain. Or you can fuhgeddaboutit and cash out.”
I plan to still tie it to the currency of the game I’m talking about, but pushing the tech for LINK and in the future, FLUX, would stave it from pump and dump.
Because that’s been my fear the past two weeks. I’ve been like… “ugh, why launch a coin if it’s going to get manhandled? Let others that survived the initial blow be the currency for your main project”. Watching the DOGE community in the last day though… I like my hair. I don’t wnat it to grey or rip it out in frustration.
