If money were no object...

Ladies and gents, I’ve just secured some warehouse space and it looks like I’ll have good financial backing to take my 5 milk crate miners to the next level.
I’ve got some ideas of my own, however I iz n00b and I wanted to ask some of the more experienced people here what they would do if money were no object, what kind of a setup would you run?
At this stage I’m looking to stack these https://openrigs.com/giorgina-stackable-gpu-frame in 6 card configuration, Asrock mining mobo (6 PCIe slots), Silverstone 1500w PSU, 6 x Sapphire 280x, no HDD running BAMT and managing with Windows RDP.
Does that sound OK or is it a little soft? Do I combine two PSU’s and run a harder card?
Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated.

just warning you about openrigs. i ordered mine on december 1 and still have not received it.
I also think you wont have enough power to run all the cards with one PSU. assume the 280x cards use 250 - 325 watts each. you will probably need to run a 1250w and 1500w together to ensure you arent running the psu at its max.

I’ve got the 280x’s undervolted to 1.075v at the moment, with Windows and a hard disk it’s drawing 1100v at the wall in a 4 card config. Running them off a Seasonic 1250watt power supply. I figure with no HDD and booting off a pen drive using BAMT I’ll probably JUST squeeze in 6 cards to a 1500watt PSU lol…

I had 2 new cards come in yesterday, so if you give me till later today I will get them installed.
So I could give you numbers for ASRock blah, blah, blah, then numbers with 1, 2, 3 and 4 GPU’s installed and ruining so we can get a better idea of how these things scale, I’ll do it any way as I’m interested to see if it’s as simple as just adding the numbers or if other factor come into play.
I’ waiting for parts for powered risers, might rock in today might not, if not I’ll build it up to 4 cards to get the numbers together, then take 1 out to be on the safe side till the parts arrive, then build it up again as I’m thinking of going 2 x Powered and 2 x Un-powered (wonder if that will make a difference to the power)
Anyways, I’ll write all the numbers down as I’m doing it give it about 15mins per test to allow things to settle etc…

Good and thanks…
Here’s what a typical config file looks for me atm with 4 x 280x’s:
-I 13 -g 2 -w 256,256,256,512 -I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192,8192,8192,10240 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1055,1055,1055,1025 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-100 --temp-target 70 --temp-overheat 90 --temp-cutoff 95
I’m getting 735 from 3 cards and 685 from the master. I hover around 2.9Mh/s on a good day. 1.075v per card…
