Gridseed, some of the badass Scrypt ASIC’s coming out, more ATI miners, maybe the NVIDIA 750ti… Gotta do some research…
One thing is for certain, that crate of 3 x 290x’s simply must go, it’s noisier than all the other crates put together FFS… Sometimes I turn it off just to rest my ears…

For the future, if we’re going to switch algo the asics are not going to be that useful. Assuming that you only mine FTC with those, right? ;)

The way I see it, there’s 2 ways to mine. Playing the long game and profit mining. If I were playing the long game I’d be mining FTC. I’m profit mining so I’m mining Vertcoin at the moment and selling up at the end of every day.
And my friends are here so I hang about…

I see your point.
I have too few share/h to do profit mining so I mine to support the net more then to gather coins (~200 MH/s spread on cpus is definitely not profitable).

Once I have enough crates to pay the bills and allow me to draw a salary then I’ll definitely be starting to play the long game with some FTC…
