[Dev] NeoScrypt GPU Miner - Public Beta Test
-
Is this going to take modding the kernel or just changing some variables in it?
SMix has to be modded accordingly. A variable change is needed in the miner, as well.

So me me not knowing CL very well and rooting around in the kernel and tinkering, isn’t gonna help as it needs part of the routine re-written.
That probably won’t stop me until you release something… 8)

It seems to suck on other cards, though…

LOL, since I don’t have any ‘other cards’, I don’t mind…

litebar moved on neoscrypt and they dont even care to release wallets…
private mining for now or compile your own.
stay out of those guys
i was trying to solo mine, found out wallet is out of date…
first wasted lot of time why miner will not work, it will not.
and just now im not interested compiling my own wallet
private mining goes on…
and sg miner 5.1 has some issues when solo! why need to use proxy? solo prevented?
as wolf said, i hate when my miner is not doing what its told to do, why?

377b solo mines just fine… 8)

It’s not ported yet - neoscrypt support in it is kind of a hack.

Did you ever get in contact with the BFGminer guy? He seems pretty solid on his coding, and has agreed to add neoscrypt.
And I’d really love to be able to run my asics and neoscrypt off of the same app.

He’s quite insane, but a good coder.

becauce of rawintensity i would like to solo with sg 15% faster than cg

Hehe let’s say that maybe all of us are little insane just being in crypto those days :)

I live outside the norm, no different here in the crypto world… O0

Same here, but dude’s still nuts.

Switched from vista to win 7
sgminer didn’t like 14.9 or 14.11 beta but is getting on famously with 14.6-rc2
Same config/settings as my last post with an xintensity of 2 (which produced 128kh/s on vista) now gives 229kh/s!
I thought that was low for my latest.
-
…and to think I was pretty happy when your latest took me from 70kh to 115 on vista :D
Thanks again man
No problem.

Anything further that can be done for VLIW hardware? 50Kh/s is a tremendous step up and almost puts neoscrypt on a par efficiency wise with Diamond and probably better than the best scrypt coins, but 50 Kh/s isn’t good enough when people with 1 generation newer hardware are hitting 200+.
I’d upgrade my cards if I could, but I can’t until probably February.
Wolf0? Love your desktop images btw. There was a rumor you might be working on a VLIW kernel. Any progress?

I was going to, but since I don’t have a card that old, I think Ghostlander’s got it. I’ve got something for Hawaii, though.
