Errors, errors everywhere :D
Basically after downloading your client and opening it and then clicking on the donate button it says that the client is already running. When I closed the client and then clicked on donate button it opened the client and left it on the main “overview” page of the client.
They are not errors, it means it works! Basically it means it recognises the Feathercoin: URL protocol - The rest of the work is down the road.
The fact you already had the client running was user error :D < Bush will fix this known issue within the client! -
We really need more testing on this by other users, once testing this can be released (this is the very first stage of simple merchant adoption - which I’m sure you will all agree is a very big stage), BTW make sure the client is not running when clicking on the test page link… :)

Erm but should it not enter your wallet address into the field when clicking on the donate button?
Not yet ;)
The rest will be done by updates to the client, this was just to add the URL protocol recognition! < Which works. 8) -
windows 7 64 bit
–google chrome - clicking donate link initialized the browser after clicking yes to pop up message *check*- opened client to overview tab instead of send with address auto added :P
–mozilla firefox - clicking donate link initialized the browser after clicking yes to pop up message *check* - opened client to overview tab instead of send with address auto added :P
–internet explorer 9*yuck* - clicking donate link initialized the browser after clicking yes to multiple pop up messages/warnings. thanks mr gates! *check* - opened client to overview tab instead of send with address auto added :P
seems to do what it is intended to do [s]except for auto loading donate address on the send tab :P[/s]…ok, it works fine then 8)
Brilliant thanks for testing, as far as I know even multibit does not auto-load the full URL with address/amount/label/message yet…This will hopefully happen with time and further updates to the client.

Tested the Install on a vmware XP 32bit box, installed flawlessly and after closing the client, tested the web link, and it loaded the client fine.
No problems.
And now I’ve tested it on a Windows 8 64bit, installed flawlessly, and again after closing the client, tested the web link, again it loaded perfectly.
Seems all good from 2 versions of windows at this end!!
;D
(eta - using firefox 20.0.1 on the XP machine, and 21.0 on the W8 machine)

I can confirm that it’s working on Windows 7 x32 (IE) and Windows 8 x32 (Chrome). Both Virtual Machines, but that doesn’t matter ;D

My flamin’ PSU blew up :( My 750watt psu.
There I was doing nothing, and BANG… :( so while I’m waiting to buy a new psu, I’ve got an old 350watt going with a linux distro, seeing as I can’t use any hardware or my ssd drive… Got an old 80gb IDE drive. Man… I knew something was about to happen… I can’t be lucky for a moment without something turning into a spanner and throwing itself at me.
Haha, so much for building a new mining rig. Any cash I had going towards that now has to go to fix this. :(
I’ll test it in wine, just to see how it goes and let you know!

Edit: This includes Feathercoin start menu folder instead of previous Feathercoin-qt folder…The original previous version will need manually uninstalling - This version and all subsequent versions will auto-uninstall from here on in.
Installer installs the client and does not affect addresses as they are located in the wallet.dat that is located %APPDATA%/Feathercoin. The only way the client would create a new wallet.dat on first run is if the user deleted/removed their old wallet.dat beforehand.
