What is your favorite new feature in Feathercoin 0.9.3.1? and how could it be improved?
There are some incredible new features available for use in the latest release of Feathercoin-qt. Some are a bit complex and need some guides or ideas how to tighten them up.
One feature I notice when starting the installation from scratch instead of upgrading is that you get the choice of where to host your Blockchain database. In previous versions this wasn’t possible change the directory and you were left with a big Blockchain dB on your small SSD.
This means you might consider a fresh install, then copy back your backed up wallet.dat file, instead of a straight upgrade.
It does mean you need to re-sync the Blockchain, but you could use that time to watch the “Network Traffic” chart in Settings /Debug Console / Network Traffic.
Or create the new Blockchain directory and copy in your old Blockchain files and the upgrade will use those in he install and save some time.
