[IDEA] Market outreach - increase merchant adoption

I have been doing quite a lot of work on eshops lately and by quite a lot, i mean a shitload to the point of exhaustion.

What i observed is that many of the hosted eshop platforms are offering paid plugins (usually 3rd party devs) through their service. For example Shopify, Bigcommerce, etc. Many of these plugins are payment and checkout modules, for local banking systems, payment processors and lately cryptocurrency.

I strongly believe that with the development of a consistent and high quality payment/money managemebt module for the ~5 major hosted eshop platforms, ftc could achieve the biggest possible practical adoption from people.
Will post more aspects of this, if there is a general interest from the devs that have better technical knowledge than me.

So, please discuss, brainstorm, ellaborate, and pontificate upon the subject, i find it to be a very interesting potential project. I am waiting eagerly for your thoughts!

It’s not part of the core responsibilities of the Team. More an associated project.
It could have open source components available that can be converted, or as a paid project a software developer could explore, ie adding FTC to a current project to head.
It would be better as an open chat thread, the Team area is restricted to moderators.
