Mining rig advice

so I’m really looking to buy a mining rig. My target is 3GH\s
can anyone give me their opinions on:- BFL’s recent shipping status on the ‘jalapeno’s’, and ‘Little Single’
- comparative mining equipment? (usb block explorer seems to be the only other option )if BFL is not shipping for months.
- if one were to wait on a BFL product, what do you think the outlook for ROI is in the coming months with BTC and increased difficulty rates?
- or should I just go the FTC (dual ATI 7950’s) route and forget about a BFL BTC rig

A couple points -
1. BFL has only shipped June of last year’s orders so far. You’re going to have a very very very long wait. Unless you try to eBay one that someone pre-ordered earlier. And with that you’re likely to either a) going to get scammed or b) pay way more than what it’s worth.
2. BFL is only shipping Jallys right now. So they assuredly have other back orders for 6/2012 to catch up on once they get the other models nailed down.
3. You’ll have to determine the ROI for yourself. At the rate BFL is moving on orders, you may not have yours for a year and then you have to contend with all the ASICs everyone already have running.
