0.13 RELEASE, MINING AFFECTED?

We’ve been mining for sometime now. With this release will I have to update any of the mining software such as CCMINER? Also, what about the android app? Will that need to updated? I also use paperwallets for cold storage, will that need to be updated as well? I have yet to experience an update like this as I have not “seriously” mined like this. Any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

There are no direct dependencies from other programs to the new 0.13 release.

To stay current? yes.
I dont think this is a mandatory upgrade, however you may not get to take advantage of any of the new features if you dont upgrade. I plan to upgrade all my nodes. -

The new version works well with the 0.9.x versions of the wallet, so there is no urgend need to upgrade now.
Nevertheless there will enhancements to the wallets/clients in the near future, which require the majority of wallets to be on 0.13.
We will announce the full and official release of 0.13 here and on the social media, so everybody can upgrade at a convenient time.
