Anyways, it seems linux can pull the best speeds for the Gigabyte R9 270 2Gb OC edition.

I’m not sure using your username would actually make a difference. If somewhere were able to get control of the site then they would have your information anyway. I’ve been using D2 for a while now and have had no problems, however I generally don’t use the same username and password for everything so in the event that something does happen they only have access to that one account. My suggestion is keep the username, change that password to something that isn’t used for anything else, and turn on auto withdraw for every 50 coins or so.

Im currently more a gamer then a mining but it is slowly changing over time :) …

So at the moment you are infact right, my mining rig is currently setup in a standard case, the only plus my case is an antec advance gaming case which as many fans :P …

But if mining does take over my PC i think i may take the side of the case off

You don’t have the opencl development libraries installed (or at least not where it expects to find them).

They are all openCL kernels, with a few tweaks that may or may not give you a little extra, depending on your specific hardware. It’s one of those, ‘If you don’t know that you need one, stick to the default’ things. But they are there if you like to play.

I swear I’ve got Gremlins.

I powered down the machine, went so far to unplug it, then restarted it. I did this twice. The second time, things work amazingly well, but I’m scared it won’t last. Performance stats:

GPU 0: 68.0C 1742RPM | 464.0K/466.3kh/s
GPU1: 69.0C 2614RPM | 474.9K/477.2kh/s

Just to clarify, those cards will work on a Mac with Mavericks, but the drivers will still suck for mining. I custom built a hackintosh with 7970 in it, and it works great except for OpenCL/OpenGL functions. Apple’s drivers are not anywhere near using the card’s full strength, so I mainly have my hackintosh mining in linux on one SSD, while OSX is installed on another SSD.

It’s fine, Asus issue the reference design for all ATI cards, so you can happily run their VBios.

You can then play with voltages on the fly.

Alternatively, you can adjust the voltages in VBE7 on your own cards VBios, which is my preferred method. Feels more rock solid…

There must be something wrong with your psu. I’m using this one:

first rail powers one gpu (two pci 6pin connectors) and processor (one cpu 4pin connector)
second rail powers mobo, hdd two gpus and even powered riser for the first gpu.
And i’ve got feeling that it could handle 4th card ;)
All mentioned gpus are gigabyte r9 270 ofcourse.
